Launch Event & preview - Friday 1st Dec 5pm – 8pm
Saturday 2nd Dec & Sunday 3rd Dec 9am– 4pm

The designedmade Makers Market features some of Tasmania’s best designers, artists and makers. There is a collective approach to sustainable practices and the retention of traditional manufacturing in the production of works that are both skillful and innovative.
The market is now in it’s ninth year and includes the works of more than 30 makers across furniture, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, leather print and more who have created sculptural and functional objects for the home and to wear.
Alongside the market will be a small exhibition, Starters, showcasing one-off pieces made by members of designedmade. These pieces largely form prototypes for an upcoming group exhibition at the historic Hadleys Hotel in 2024.
The designedmade Makers Market is held upstairs in the ballroom of the historic Hobart Town Hall on the corner of Macquarie and Elizabeth Streets.

There will be lots to see and purchase from a mix of past exhibitors and some new faces including Andrea Barker, A Published Event, Bronwen Feachnie, Christine Hannan, Debbie Hill, Duncan Meerding, Emily Snadden, Leigh Rigozzi, Linda Chee, Linda Fredheim, Lisa Britzman, Luna Newby and friends, Natasa Milenovic, Olivia Hickey, Paul Allen, Penny Malone, Prue Quarmby, Rachel Dean, Stuart Williams, Svend Madsen, Tanya Scharaskin, Till Julien and Zsolt Faludi + coffee and homemade slices

The event kicks off with drinks and nibbles on Friday night at the launch event at 5.00pm.
